When former detective Tom Brook hears that Julie Delaney has been abducted and her partner John Channing left bound and gagged he is convinced that it is the work of the Crow, responsible for kidnapping three women, including Simon Duke's wife some years earlier. None of the women were found and Tom is sure that, although a suspect was charged and jailed, the Crow is still at large.
