Gershon is a former medical worker and of the diaspora of a non-existing country living in the Netherlands. He is fond of the myth of Manarmakeri, a West Papuan cargo worker. The archival footage appropriated is a Dutch propaganda film about a health care program in West Papua that Gershon took part in.
