Sisters Carrie and Anna Berniers have been supporting their ne'er-do-well brother Julian through various failed businesses; now, he returns home with a sudden fortune and his young bride. Jealousies both old and new will play a part as the sisters try to understand what Julian's been up to, and as his wife wonders if there's another woman involved. 本来角色间的张力应该挺强的，但大概因为演员间都不怎么来电，看着松松散散的，故事发展也很儿戏，挺喜欢佩姬最后的发疯戏。$挺好看的。双姝怨的编剧舞台剧，朱门巧妇编剧的改编。DM在58年以后好不容易演了回正剧，在乔治罗伊希尔的导演下竟然也有种傻儿子的感觉……他和Geraldine看起来不像姐弟（可能是故意的）……Geraldine演得真好啊$太精彩的表演，杰拉登佩姬的癫狂与张扬在温蒂希勒的冷静压抑的克制中绽放出更加残忍的美丽。末尾的痛哭大快人心。$丽莲·海尔曼的作品，内战后的美国南方，凯莉和安娜姐妹对弟弟朱利安的复杂情感……$5⃣️和丽莲海尔曼的剧本不一样，完全不是一个层次的表达，太失望了，很多角色的戏份没了而且剧本结尾姐姐Carrie如愿以偿在大宅里照顾伤残的Julian，一种变相囚禁，让我想起可怕的孩子里的伊丽莎白。电影杰拉丹佩吉的表演很精彩。
