I actually quite like this movie, to be honest. First of all, it's language-heavy and most of the actors speak with a cute British accent, which provides a quite nice change from all those Hollywood ones I see too often. Second of all, the plot is full of twists and turns so you don't get a moment's boredom. Besides, BGM is not bad as it fits the scenes well. I can still hear the producer guy playing guitar in a tunnel after he broke up with his girlfriend.
Every day, we are up against countless little things that seem to consume all our positive energy and take away all our confidence and patience but we shouldn't be daunted. True, there's sadness, conflicts, stupidity and betrayal but there's also humor, warmth, repentance, hope and embrace of change. Life isn't perfect. All we need to do is keep living, try to cope and not be afraid of it. Maybe that's what this movie's telling us.
It's not one of those movies you'll remember long after you see it, but you sure will relate to some of the things that happened in it. Human nature doesn't differ that much after all. It really isn't all that bad.
