First, I was so sad when I am looking at the director's age: Lisanro Alonso, born in 1975 TT.
This is his second movie. The first is Freedom (2001).
To say honestly, this movie is not my cup of tea. However, something is worthy learning, which is the maneuver or theory called: Free Indirect Subjective, presented by Pier Paolo Pasolini.
"In Pier Paolo Pasolini's theory of film, the free indirect subjective is a cinematic style which combines the vision of the filmmaker with the subjective point of view of his character: the subjective experience of the character becomes the cinematic matter which the filmmaker uses in order to create the intersubjective images of the film. Therefore, films directed using this style of Pasolini show intersubjectively the subjective experience of the character."
So if look back on my movie list, I can figure out several were using this way.
This is a good way, always honest to the reality, pure reality, no falling pie, no exaggerated emotion or action, no answer and even no question, no change, but that is life.
However, I would say, this movie is not telling a common life. It's a different one from beginning to the end. What we can find is how a person struggled out of unreality life and tried to merge into a reality life, but no one knows if he gets there.
The last, I really like the scenes, they were managed finely.
