小矮人幽默乐观，是第一个待带本杰明走出老人院的人。他会给本杰明讲很多有趣的事。
因为个子矮小，他从小就被人嘲笑，不过他却一点也不在乎别人的看法，照样自信阳光，还泡了一高个子妞。本杰明问他感到孤独吗，他回答：“ Plenty times you be alone. You different like us, it's gonna be that way. But I tell you a little secret. Fat people,skinny people, tall people, white people... they just as alone as us... But they scaredshitless... Not a thing wrong with being alone... no sir... ”
