Speechless, shocking, and even heartbreaking when Ethiopia farmers eradicated coffee trees to earn space for chat, saying that he didn't do it on choice, but for the fear of death.
This is only one side of coffee. Absolutely, there are multiple sides which oppose against each other. But this side of the story is too severe to be ignored. Hope everyone could think about what is behind their food before eating them up.
And this internationally and macroscopically unsolvable issue reminds me of the Eviction of Migrant Workers in Beijing and a comment on it from one of my anthropology teachers:
